Summertime is here and to celebrate we thought we’d share a peek at our new collection. We’ve curated a selection of our favourite summer covers to create a new range of Travel Journals. We’ve even pre-set the cover text so all you’ll need to do is add your name, select your perfect paper and binding… Then you can get started on packing!
Why keep a Travel Journal?
Do you ever think you yourself, “No need to write this down, I’ll definitely remember…” and twenty minutes later it’s gone forever?
I certainly do!
Keeping a journal during a holiday or whilst travelling will keep all of your memories safe for years to come. And reading back through them will add a little sunshine to the colder months.
Remember to jot down a list of all of the places you visit on your trip. Then if you want to recommend them to a friend or plan a return visit you’ll have them all in one place.
Holidays are a time we get to spend more time hanging out with friends and family. Try adding a “Quote of the day” to your journal entry. We’re sure there will be some cracking one-liners that deserve to be immortalised. If you’re travelling alone (and power to you!) you could try noting down an overheard quote each day.
How to document your travels
If you read our first blog article you’ll know that we have written about this a little already. However, we think that the best way to document your adventures should be personal to you!
You might opt for a combination or words and sketches. Or you could make lists of all the wonderful food you try. You could even experiment with some coloured pencils or watercolours to capture the colour palette of your trip. The only thing we insist on when creating your Travel Journal is that you have fun and relax while doing it, you’re on holiday after all!
